See the pic of the Integrale above as a prime example of a car that looks masculine. Don't act like I just walked in and started pointing at everybody and saying "YOU'RE ALL GAY!!!!!" because I didn't. There are Ferrari's that you could say are "feminine" because of their shape. Doesn't make the man driving them gay or something.

It was said tongue in cheek IMHO the Beetle cabrio is a horrible car. It's such a pastiche like the Mini. For me the 500 is the only remake which has actually managed to maintain the proportions and looks of the real deal and be modern at the same time.

Cool I think there's nothing more better than a woman who has a good car.

My girlfriend has one of these

I think it's cool to see a girl driving around in anything other than a Corsa or some other kind of small hatchback or Range Rover Sport

I agree. Non-pc-ness makes it interesting, otherwise it would get boring if everybody does back patting.

Yeah, but is there much in the way of 'back patting'?

We are a lot meaner than some sections I think.... Which is very weird due to the cute nature of the car. No one ever has road rage at my 500 so why do we feel the need to be soo aggressive towards each other

Any man that can't park a tiny Fiat is always seen to be rubbish in bed as he'd never know what fits where or understand the mechanics of it all so let me know how you get on, LOL!

Re: Is there much 'Love' in the 500 section?

I think I now have the answer to the OP....

There is a bitchy, queeny element to this section of the forum that hasn't raised its ugly head anywhere else.

Maybe....

Anyway my comment about sexual orientation wasn't meant to get you guys to out yourselves, it was merely to state that it is no-one else's business on a car forum. I'm a car nut and a trained mechanic and I think the 500 is the best thing to hit the showrooms since sliced bread hit Tesco!

It's all quite fun really although some of the members can be quite irritating at times and that probably includes me!

So we're all going to be a bit nicer to each other from now on and none of this 'What the feck are you talking about you low life scum who knows nothing and dare speak in front of me a motoring GOD!' business?

Re: Is there much 'Love' in the 500 section?

Could I also just add that I have found the 500 section of this forum to be fine.

It was a great help while I waited 9 weeks for the car arrive, people always make positive posts about the new cars posted, it has been informative, it is generally friendly (apart from the odd partypooper) and a healthy debate from time to time is the way of the world.

I went to my first 'Fiat' car show recently and met some lovely people and gorgeous 500s - old and new.

I agree with minifunclub. On the whole, people on here are helpful and accept that we don't all have the same opinions. Also, if everyone always agreed with everyone else, it might make for a boring forum. I think we all love our 500s enough to appreciate that others on here feel/will feel the same about theirs too. One thing that doesn't come across though is the impression that one type of 500 is better than another, which is good,as we've all chosen our 500s based on our own needs and preferences. I enjoy this forum, and the other 500 forum too, and have found them both informative and certainly interesting.

Re: Is there much 'Love' in the 500 section?

Jim, the classic Panda section is so friendly because its been around for a long time, and most members actually know one another and meet up in person. This is new, already some peeps seem to get on well and other dont, I think it does get a bit bitchy now and then but in time I expect it will be fine... its better than the other site anyhow
You should have got the diesel Jim, Im sure youd have bonded with that lovely burbly sound. Then again, most modern stuff is unlovable
