I love the Cha Cha Azure colour but, probably very foolishly, worry that it makes the car look too 'feminine' for a male driver? What do you think?
I was going to get it with an ivory interior and brown leather seats.

Otherwise I'd go for the Jive Blue with the same interior - I like the unusual colour and it makes the car less cute, but dunno if that's a good thing....

Don't worry. Just buy what you like. The 500 IS a cute car, whatever colour you choose. If your virility is challenged by the colour of your car you have problems that paint can't solve anyway, in which case buy a black Hummer and look a complete prat ;)

If you're having second thoughts about a colour then don't get it in that colour. You'll only we worrying until it gets to you and then you might not like it. The 500 works with simple colours like the white IMHO. Get a nice strong colour or white and don't tack too much chrome or stickers onto it and I'm sure it'll look fine.

Ok guys be aware I'm watching.
Bitching has started to get a little too high in my section.

In answer to the OP. If you are not sure about a colour don't decide. You will almost certainly over the time you own the car decide you would rather have a different colour and if you aint sure in the first place you will proberly change your mind before you even collect it.

I wouldn't say it's really that retro as it quite a few shades different from the colour on the original 500's which was this.

Even the mod blue is very different to the colour on the original cars which is a little bit more bright.

I had the same decision to make, originally chose Jive, but when I saw the cha cha I decided on that as it does look stunning. I think the brown leather will look better with the jive though. Mudflaps look good, saw some on a white 500 in Germany, Im getting some, I only wish Fiat did some fron ones though.

Jive blue with ivory ambience and tobacco leather would look absolutely fantastic....

The 500 hes shown is a very early suicide door model, youll be very pleased to hear that later 500 models did in fact come in a colour very similar to cha cha azure. I think it would be the 500F models.

My dad has an F.

Closest colour to Cha Cha Azure is probably this one I guess

Jive Blue's actually quite close to the old blue.

It's a pity I didn't take pictures of my dads 500f when I was in Australia a month or so ago. Could have seen what a real 500 looks like :p

IMHO the Cha Cha Azure is a beautiful colour for the 500, especially with
the ivory trim. It has a very classy & individual look.

I really like both the jive and cha cha, I mulled over both and ultimately went for jive as I think it looks great with the ivory. Usually its your first instinct that's the right one, even after considering other choices the first one ends up the final one.

Hi Mr Plant 38!!:D
Was wondering what the mudflaps look like, do they help the dirty botty syndrome and who fixed them on your car?? Piccies would be great! ;) Thanks

hi sorry for late reply

found they help loads i was sick of the back window filling up with muck from the road and found it seems to have cut it down loads, will get some pics and try and get them on here.

they actually dont look too bad but could have done with 500 being embosed on them would have set it off :slayer:

cha cha and ivory you have to love that. gb77 I have seen pics of the jive and ivory it looks great i just think the ivory adds something special to this little car.

There was a deciding factor for me in deciding on Jive, it's £250 less to pay.
