| 1.3 diesel my arse I have just insured my diesel and according to the insurance guys its a 1.248L. I have not seen the Vin details yet so cant confirm for sure but how the hell can anyone round that up to 1.3 ?Clearly its either a 1.2 diesel and should be described as such

With such a difference in price between them, it would be an easy mistake for a numbnuts at the call centre to click the wrong button. The 1.2 petrol is only 6cc smaller at 1242. Cheers D

| Panda's with Gadget's | Re: 1.3 diesel my ar*e Renault do this with their 1.2 Twingo's, they're only something like 1119cc, so really are only 1.1's, what a bloody cheak. No wonder why it felt the same as my 1.1 Panda.

| Re: 1.3 diesel my ar*e It's just that it's common knowledge in car circles. Firstly most diesels have a turbo, older ones have preheating systems, they're also build stronger as they have to deal with detonation which will destroy a petrol engine if it goes on long enough and they also have fairly complex injection systems.
