i know what you mean, mine was a bit stiff (;) lol) in the first few hundred miles, but now it seems to have eased off a bit (after doing nearly 2k). it's prob mostly down to it being a new car. is it more stiff when the car is cold?

Yeah it is for a while when i've just started it, its really annoying and embarassing because obviously my speed slows down for a bit while im trying force it into gear lol.

do you mean going up thou the gears

cos i could understand down changing being difficult when cold but up shifts should be easy as revs dropping are always in your favour on the syncro action

or do you think it may be more to do with the cables going from the stick to the box these have been known to be stiff specially in the sideways direction from new on 500s and pandas

if so then as said it will loosen up with time

ours was doing this, then it started creeping at junctions

try it next time your in the car, make sure there's nothing directly in front, sit with it in gear, clutch pressed hold it .. . . hold it . . . hold it . . . keep holding it . . . if it's gone badly belly up it'll start to creep or stall.

If it's not too bad yet, the biting point on the pedal will seem short. Thennnn it'll start the creeping / stalling game

new clutch cylinder on ours, all is rosey in the garden again (y)

if the gearchange is crunching on change up (baulking) it sounds like the clutch isn't fully disengaging fully,

Could simply be a little air in the clutch hydraulics. Might need bleeding
