(G) the day has finally arrived...picking up my 500 today :D

Finally, my insurance certificate came through at 12:30pm! After me phoning Direct Line and getting them to Fax the details to Fiat, but all is good and I shall be going down within the next 20mins to pick it up.

I'm gonna buy some car mats and the car air freshener while I'm there too, plus I'm gonna take some pics of it while its pristene before I take it out in this shoddy weather!

Plan for today: Cruise my 500 to The Trafford Centre!

I picked up my lovely little-un yesterday. Felt really pathetic - actually felt myself welling up when I saw her - how sad it that??? She was just as beautiful as I hoped, white with italian stripes and side bumpers.
I mustn't be that bad though, 'cos I stopped off at our local Asda on the way home and couldn't believe it. I had barely got out of the car when a woman came over absolutely besotted with the car and gave me a hug! My husband's jaw dropped - I'd told him about other people on the forum reporting the same reaction from people.

I didn't get to do that today 'cos I got to the dealership about 13:45 and left about 15:45 so I'm gonna go tomorrow (if it's open Good Friday!)

However, I managed to cruise around St. Helens and Widnes for a bit, twas rather cool obviously putting petrol in first 'cos they left me with 1/4 of a tank! Although amazed it only took £28 to fill him up.

I bought black mats and black car air freshener and they look ace (pics coming soon!!) I'm just about getting used to the display, the salesman connected my phone for me so I'm getting used to that and the text message doo daa. I love the growl it makes in lower gears aswell and it pulls away with such 'rapidness' it's ace!

That was a bit here there and everywhere, I'm just excited it's finally here! I'm gonna spend most of my evening now reading my booklets
