Particle filter regeneration

Has anyone with a diesel felt this happen yet? Is it really noticable? I wanted an idea of what to expect before it happened .

You shouldn't notice anything. Regeneration happens automatically when the DPF reaches the required temps, usually when blasting along the motorway.
