Blue & Me - What Fiat UK Say

Dear Umer,
Thank you for contacting the Fiat Information Centre. Regarding your enquiry there will be different specifications on the car based on the country it will be used in. In the UK specified Fiat 500, the Blue & Me Nav comes with pictogram on board navigator, steering–wheel mounted controls and also voice destination selection.

This is what Fiat say about it, so it sounds like if you order your car now you'll be able to order it with the dash-top pictogram navigation which may have been unavailable on the earliest models.

(sorry if this is a repost, i just didn't see it anywhere and there was some confusion about it)

Three months ago (05/12/07) Fiat released a letter to the dealer network saying that Blue&Me Nav would not be available at all in the UK, so there seems to be a conflict of information going on here.

As with everything else relating to Fiat product updates, I won't actually believe Blue&Me Nav is available at all until I see it in an official announcement...

Bleedin heck, it seems it won't be available if there ain't been an announcement. Maybe they plan on introducing it? I dunno, i hope they do, but Fiat really need to get everybody informed so there's no conflict on info as you said. Bloody annoying. Guess i shall also have to wait until there's an official announcement but there's at least 2.5months left til i'm ordering mine.
