The lounge has the following as standard (not supplied with the sport):

split folding rear seats with head restraints, storage under passenger seat, fixed glass roof, chrome window trims, chrome front & rear bumpers, chrome crown on gear lever, illuminated luggage compartment, sun visor with light and courtesy mirror.

Hope this helps.[/quote]

The storage under the seat is listed for all models as standard in the brochure.

All but the sun visor courtesy light can be had as options on the other models.

At least I think so!

Cheers

Re: too many options........

And so the confusion over the exact spec goes on. I really do think that this business is bloody. Just as you think you have got everything you really want, you discover you have to do without something you feel you need. So you start with the Pop and add stuff on, only to discover that the Pop comes without the seat storage, or does it? And the boot light is a must, so... Then you want the leather seats, and discover that you can't have the colour you like with the right 'ambiance', and so you give up and assume the position of Rodin's Thinker. Or something like that. I have never quite got to my perfect spec without gaining something I don't want on the way, or leaving something important out. One day though! This is the Rubik cube of choice and I refuse to believe that 'my' car isn't in there somewhere.

Re: too many options........

I think the brochure, although a thing of beauty is not much use and could do with a simple A4 sheet with spec's & options included. I tend to refer to the fiat uk web site and use the comparison part of the 500 section. Still not enough info & images though!!

Yoshi

PS As far as I know ALL the 500 models have underseat storage pop, lounge & sport.

I'm sure you are right. But I'll wait and take a look. Now we seem to be able to have the enhanced audio system, which was advertised but actually unavailable, until very recently - apparently. I sat in one car with the sunroof and found my head crushed against the edge of the headlining. The skydome or whatever its called is better - but unwanted, and the solid steel roof, for me, is ideal. Except that I can only have it with the Pop. Then, when I add the necessaries, I have to do without various little important things, such as the boot light, and so I go for the Lounge after all and start all over again.

In a way it is fun of course, and as I am waiting for the twin cylinder engines I suppose I am grateful for the confusion because I am not tempted to jump.

Now, all I want is to see one of the grey/browny ones in the metal so that I can make up my mind about the colour. Either this, or white...maybe...

Re: too many options........

I did get a single sheet (round wheel shape) card from the dealers that listed each spec and option against each other so you can compare each model at a glance without having to go through the brochure.

This states that the under seat storage is only available on the lounge. Perhaps this was an early error that was rectified when the brochure was printed

Re: too many options........

Oh, and you can get the solid steel roof on the sport as well as the pop.

Saw a punk grey car in the flesh today. It looked very brown. It would probably look good with a red interior but this one had a black ambience with the lounge black/white checked seats and just looked very drab.

Yes, I meant to include that with the sun visor - my mistake.

Try an Audi. Multiple levels of interior illumination, metal, wood or "Piano" interior strips. Various steering wheels with levels of functionality. An option list that can add the cost of a 500 to the base car!

Cheers
Baldrick

Re: too many options........

For some reason, which I have forgotten, I don't think I want the Sport. Something to do with not having split rear seats if I remember, but I can have these as an extra, but still lose out on some small wanted thing, and have to pay a bit more - probably... But I do like the look of the Punk Grey very much. And this looks like it will actually be enhanced by the chromy bits, so the Lounge is getting warmer in my mind's eye all the time. In white I wouldn't particularly want the chrome you see....and so it goes on..

I can't imagine ever even looking at an Audi with a thought to purchase actually. Like all German cars Audis leave me just a little bit cold. I had an Audi 100 thirty years ago and I never really fell in love with the thing.
