Smiley owner

I have eventually managed to resolve the saga around the 100W sub for my new 500 sport.
On speaking to customer services in Italy yesterday ,they contacted me this morning to say that the sub is not an option on any of the 500 range, and it was a mistake that it was put into the brochures.

Whilst its not good news for me or anyone that wants the sub, as a gesture of goodwill, Fiat will pay installation cost of a sub provided to the dealer.
They have contacted the salesman that took my order, and have confirmed our agreement, and the dealer has contaced me to advise receipt of call from head office. So I will be buying the following unit :-
http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/spkr0_2.asp
as pointed out by a kind person here, and presenting this to the dealer when they get my car to fit ready for collection.

I now am wishing that I hadnt decided to wait till September, but i will just have to be patient, I am sure it will be worth the wait.

Re: Smiley owner

Very nice, hope they do a good job.

I wonder if the wiring is in place for sub as the Soundscope WAS an option, it's even on some of the publicity photos I have seen. If it is, it should be a dead simple job to do.

Re: Smiley owner

Thats not so bad then.

Sub looks like quite a tidy little unit.

Re: Smiley owner

I wonder what the sizes of the other speakers are & if they are fairly easy to replace?

Re: Smiley owner

I was researching subs too and they were all massive. this is more compact.

Would it go under the seat then, can I buy 2 of them and have them both in my car :-) ??

I am going to pick up a unit very soon, and take it to the dealers and offer the unit up to under the front seat, so that when the car arrives will know exactly where it will fit.
Hopefully it will fit under either of the front seats.
