Spot the difference.

Quite a difference a single chrome strip can make.

How easy was it to get straight?

Getting it straight was the easy bit.

The strip is actually profiled to slightly different shape that the bonnet, so I had to "bend" using a hairdryer so the rea edge didn't stick up.

Took about 20 mins all in from start to finish.

I was really surprised at the difference, add definition to the shape of the bonnet & make it look less bland.

Did you get if rom a dealer?

Yep (well of a parts dealer), genuine FIAT part, why do you ask?

Because they are a nightmare to get hold of, we are still waiting for the initial 10 we ordered in December!

My dealer has one, was the one they ordered for me, but as they couldn't give an ETA I sourced my own!!!

Which secretly they are quite pleased about apparently as it means they have stock, not for long though I'll bet.

Got mine off EBAY, indy FIAT parts dealer, sells genuine items.

Looks great Mark but I am not sure if I want that and the A-bar or one or the other if you know what I mean. If I have both it could look OTT but I was a pic of a lounge with A-bar and bonnet strip and it looked ok, not sure

I prefer it without, it kind of splits the car in two... but everyones different. The idea of the A bar is nice but looks a bit fussy on the new 500, looks ace on an old one though

I asked if i could get an ivory gearstickand i was told it wasnt possible!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know you could get them cause I think the black one in the white car aint' that nice

Wonder if the parts department can do one?
