Re: 500

Production of the 1.2 Dualogic hasn't started yet, so it would be at least 3 months wait I'm afraid

Re: 500

But don't let a 3month wait put you off.

If you order one, unless the dealer has stock, you'll probably be looking at the thick end of 3 months wait anyway, and I'm guessing that after the Fifth Gear review, coupled with a load of 500's being let out to play on 1st March raising public awarness, that the wait will, for the time being, only get longer.

Patience is a virtue, I recived mine after a 5 month wait, worth every minute of the wait though.

Re: 500

Coolgirl,

Where in Surrey are you? It may be worth popping into Mill Lane Fiat in Aldershot () and asking them when they can get one for you - or Bishops Fiat in Guildford ( I have been boycotting Bishops for 3 years of s*** service on our Alfa).

Frensham Engineering, south of Farnham, don't have any 500s, as I think they're too small. I went in there recently for a chat and they didn't really have much knowledge of the obvious questions I was asking.

Re: 500

I think Simon at Wessex (aka Scrogg) may have some stock coming in.

Not with the dualogic gearbox though - at least not for a few months at least.

As Scrogg said, best thing to do is place an order with your dealer for a dualogic and wait the three or so months

There's a review of the 500 1.2 Dualogic by Autocar here.

Re: 500

Thanks for that. That was actually a solid, sensible review and served to get rid of what little interest I had in the dualogic anyway....
