After lurking around reading the 500 forum after ordering a 500 I've finally subscribed as a member.

My question(s) is simply.....

How long is it before a Funk White car will arrive ? I've been told form September to next year, both I can totally accept given I've heard they can only spray two cars a day in this finish.

I have still ordered a lounge in Funk White as I really fancy it as a colour, and also thought if it is so hard to get the 2nd hand values hopefully will be strong.

I ordered it the day before the UK launch but think the order only went in the day of the launch from what the garage said.

Will my car have a estimated build date if I hassle the garage or because of my spec will it just be on hold ?

I also spec'd the opening roof, 16" multi spoke alloys, etc. all of which are going to be making it a slow order I'm told. Good job I'm not in much of a rush.

Oh, and finally, has anyone a good photo of the Funk white next to the standard white to see the real difference ? or, has anyone actually seen it in the flesh ?

5 cars a week for the entire world wide market are painted in Funk white. So september is very likely. Build date I doubt will have been finalised yet.

I've seen Funk white in the flesh and I prefer Bossa Nova.

No it won't, it will just be sat on the system as a confirmed order.

Is the Funk White like the pearlescent white which Audi used on some of their 80 sports back in the late eaighties, early nineties. If so that is a beautiful colour and one I would love to have......

However I can't justify paying an extra £700 and waiting until September at least to get it.

For those who can it should look stunning.

I seem to recall Funk White being the exact same colour as Pantene Pro V shampoo in the mid nighties. Changed to very short hair and stop using poofy hair products then.
