my fiats flat!

hi,
hoping someone can give me some advise. Car had flat battery two months ago and got a new battery fitted. Everything fine for a few weeks then wouldnt start when left for a few days and appeared to be a flat battery.
Problem got worse and woudnt start every time tried to turn engine on. Wouldnt jump start but can get it going by bump starting every time. Took it to garage who said battery was fine and said it was started moter so replaced it. Problem remains!! can a faulty starter motor drain the battery?? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi
I have had the same problem on a punto and my battery has had to be replaced for the second time in short succession I have been told if it happens again it maybe the lead between the alternator and battery which is faulty and not recharging the batttery properly. Alternatively get the alternator voltage checked a garage will be able to give you a reading.

Good luck

I'm guessing if the problem started 2 months ago, it ain't a Uk 500.

Cheers
