Quick poll... Has anyone actually got a RHD 500 yet?

I called in tonight and the dealer is saying 5 or 6 days for delivery but as I want some 'Charity' graphics on it and a photo op for the local rag it might delay things a bit.

Was wondering if anyone has picked theirs up yet?

Jim

I got mine just over a week ago. I think one other member has one as well, with plenty more on their way, no doubt.

Yesterday Mrs Gordini was driving it, and was stopped by a manic Italian bloke in a Panda. He ran up to her, waving his arms around, kissing his fingers, shouting "bella machina!!!", etc. :worship:

That's a fantastic story!

We were crossing the Forth Rd bridge in Scotland on Monday and a Arnold Clarke dealer 500 over took us when we where driving the NIIMC panda and he beeped us! It's really nice when stuff like that happens:D

Jim, it gives a bit of a much needed boost to the new car sales although it probably just compresses them over a shorter period. It's certainly worth holding on as its probably worth a couple of hundread quid on the resale value.

True.. but I kinda like our non-age plates. Like there's nothing to tell anyone that my other two cars are 1991 and 1995

And it really worked on the last panda I owned cause I swapped the blue badges for red ones so a 2004 looked 2008 fresh, lol

The New 500 is going to be SEZ 1500*

Jim

(well, I'm hoping. I know it's going to be SEZ 1 or 2 but after that I've no idea:eek:)

Wasn't me anyway. Did cross the bridge on Monday but in a Arnold Clark stickered GP Sporting.

Would have beeped if I saw you though. :)

Aww... well, it's nice to know you would have! :)

It was one of the dealer graphic'd pop's in the very pale baby blue that did the needful. Would of been around 11 ish I think but I was driving from Ladybank to Bigrigg in Cumbira so I sorta lost track of time:eek:
