Just thought I'd make a quick post after seeing a physical car and sitting in it with the red leather interior option which I've ordered on my car. I had read a few negative things about the quality of the leather and it looking tired and saggy when new. I'm pleased to say that the leather in the Sport I saw was excellent quality and the red is a very attractive shade (it's darker than most of the photo's I've seen) and goes really well with the Pasadoble red this car was finished in. It is a very fine surface texture leather and feels very thick with high quality stitching. In fact it looks better than the Dakota leather you get in BMW's to be honest. There was no sign of sagging and due to the tickness of the leather it should resist this pretty well IMHO. I'm extremely glad I've now seen it and very pleased I ordered it.

Thanks - I'm getting the red leather (picking car up next Saturday) and can't wait so it's nice to hear it looks good. To be honest, the reports of sagging etc didn't really bother me - I have a bit of a leather, erm, well, it's not a fetish as such, but I do like the smell. A lot. I may have to live in my 500. I could lie on the back seat and just smell the new leather....sorry...better go now...

leather... mmmmm lol

Hi. I'm glad I've just read your post, as we were having 2nd thoughts about our order. We've orered a 1.4 Sport in Pasodoble red with the red leather. In all the pics we've seen, the leather seemed more orangey, and we had wondered if it'd clash with the red on the dash. Thanks for making me feel much better about it and erasing any doubts.

I understand your concerns as matching up shades of red can be very difficult but Fiat have done a great job. If I get a chance later in the week I may pop back and try to take some pics. It looks great and I'd recommend sticking with your first instinct and leave it as Pasadoble and red leather (y)

I have order red leather (sport). Is the “orange/brown” color on the upper part of the picture red? The lower part is from the configuration site. I guess the upper picture is from a lounge model?

All of the pics above are the vintage tan leather not the red. There are pics of the red on another thread.
