Recently purchased a new 2014 500c cabrio (in Canada, it's called the Pop model); and have heard that in some previous models, the cabrio roof could be lowered remotely from the keyfob.


It is not mentioned in my owner's manual.


Does anyone know if this is possible for this 2014 model?

On the UK model you unlock it with the key fob and leave your finger pressed and it opens.

for the North American Cabrio top:


You press the unlock button, on the key case, three times slowly and hold down the button on the third press wait about one to two seconds and the top will open half way as long as you keep pressing the button.


Be sure and not press the button to fast or let loose of the button on the third press or the top will not open.

Aussie one works the same. I've never been able to figure out a use for this feature - if the button remotely closed the roof it'd be more use for those times when you forget before turning off the ignition.

The US version sounds horribly complicated...
