For reducing throttle lag you could try those electronic throttle mods such as the GoPedal, available from 500Madness.

44sunsets no worries... Am also planning on ordering 500madness's cold air intake as well as the Borla CAT back exhaust package... All told looks to be about $1500 bucks for power upgrades so not terrible

IMHO 1500 is a lot to pay for a cat back exhaust and a cold air intake and for the tiny increase in performance you'll get.

All the GoPedal does is push the accelerator further for you. You can actually build one yourself for around $30 (vs ~$300), the tech is extraordinarily simple.

As the module and reports from those who have bought it all claim that it works by advancing the throttles timing as well as letting you choose between 3 other modes or turn it off for adverse driving conditions... Would hate to think you are accusing a repuitable company of producing a fraudulent product

And as a profesional mechanic i know companies are NOT allowed to do such things

GoPedal changes the signal curve, so the car does respond more quickly -- simply mashing the pedal harder doesn't give the same result.

Sure it's overpriced, but so are most car-related things. They charge what the market can bear. And I definitely wouldn't put my trust in a makeshift electronic throttle mod that I cobbled together myself

Throttles have 'timing' that can be advanced now? This sound a lot like someone is suggesting it intercepts with the ECU which would indeed be a fraudulent claim.

It's a pulse interceptor. That's what I said it is and that's what it is. Yes it changes the curve, that's what a pulse inteceptor does. An Arduino for $30 and a little know how and you're set.

The idea that you'll have to turn it off for adverse conditions is funny. It's still only ~100hp.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you deluded. I can think of 100 or more products from 'reputable' companies that are snake oil. Everything from electric turbo chargers to octane boosters that reduce octane.
