I was just wondering if any of the other new Cabrio owners were experiencing a vibration in the front end? I notice that my mirrors were vibrating quite a bit and asked my husband to take it for a ride. He said he felt that there was a vibration in the front end so we took it to our local dealer/service dept. They confirmed that there is a vibration and that they do not know what is causing it and will keep trying to find out the reason but gave me the car back in the meantime to drive.
Anyone one else having this problem?

You could try putting a post on the European 500 forum. There's quite a few 500c drivers on there and I get the impression (I could be wrong) that the US 500 is not all that different to the European model.
Which model do you have - wheel size (you probably have the 15inch) can have an impact along with tyre pressures, etc. I remember reading that you have 'All season tyres'.
On the US model they very much looked at reducing vibrations and harshness.

Thanks for the info I will check it out. My tires are definetly not the cause of problem though. The guy from Fiat has said it is something coming from the engine or possibly transmission.

Europe hasn't the got the US Automatic gearbox in the 500 - it's a dualogic which is a Robotised manual gearbox (MTA).

I bought my 500c a week ago and my husband and I both have noticed and felt the vibration in the front end - especially at highway speeds.

It is going to the dealer to have the heated seats installed later this week and they are going to look it over then. Will update back here if / when they figure it out.

Do you have an automatic or a manual ?

Be sure to tell them that a person affiliated with Bob & Chuck Eddy's dealership in Austintown Ohio is experiencing the same problem. My name is Buffy Balogh. They told me they are looking into it but that no one else has had the same problem yet.

Will let them know about this thread - the dealer manager is very tech savvy.

Mine is an automatic as well.

My husband seems to think the tires are out of balance. But we'll see. My seats haven't come in yet so I am waiting to get in to the dealership.

I am now taking a 500c automatic for a couple days test run before I purchase. I too have noticed the vibration, especially with the mirrors. I also saw it reported in this review: just remove the * and copy and paste to get to review.

That link didn't work for me but it is 'in there' but you have to sign up to get the review....

This model is only available in Europe & is quite different with a 2 cylinder engine with a turbo and really could not be compared with the 1368cc 4 cylinder engine. In addition the automatic gearbox is unique to the North American market.

Well the guys from Michigan are on the case with my Cabrio. Also the dealer where we purchased car is willing to get us into another car since right now there is no fix for the vibration. Very happy that they decided to take care of it so quickly.
Big thanks to them!
Pick up my new Fiat Thursday:)(y)
