| Side strips question? Hi all we have ordered Lindas car without the strips I think it looks better without them but I also don't dislike them Linda feels the same in fact when we saw the picture of the azure suasexed posted with strips on it Linda said she liked them! Question is if someone opens a door onto yours will it only hit the rubbing strip, does the rubbing strip stick out further than the door or will it still hit the door higher up?

| Moderator | Re: Side strips question? youve got the same question as me! the strip does stick out further than the door, but... most cars have curved doors now so I reckon they will hit the door further up. this is the trouble with the 500.... too many choices ![]()

| Re: Side strips question? I know the side strips on my Volvo have saved the doors on a number of occasions in the supermarket carpark. They only really protect against other cars front doors, the shape of rear doors means they will probably hit higher up. Simon
