Hi just wondering anyone has a Fiat 500 Hachette model car for sale?

Thank you.

Hello.

Good news! There is one on eBay at the moment, item No 272853993100.

I think it has been relisted. Be the first bidder, starting price £700. Postage from Italy £67.00.

It looks to be already built.

I too am after one, but not at that price...

Sounds too Pricey but thank you

I wonder why those beautiful big scale models are only available at stupid 200+ issue magazine form and they are very expensive also.:bang: There is also a nice renault 8 gordini at the same price. fyi the best fiat 500 comes from minichamps in 1/18 scale at around 100 plus something euros.:D

It always amuses me and Ann how much each of these 'kits' actually end up costing----£4.99p per week (or whatever it is) doesn't sound much, until you add it all up and realise that the final price can be eye-watering---and once you have started to collect the parts, you have only 2 options--stop, and realise that you have wasted quite a bit of money because you have an incomplete project (for which you can't just 'go out' and buy the outstanding bits) or, bite the bullet and complete the kit purchase.
I have mentioned it before, but the TAMIYA "Abarth 695ss" kit (1-24th, in plastic) still occasionally come up for sale on e-bay, and being that it is a Tamiya kit. it is quite good.

Italeri kit is quiet expensive kit for it's size compared with other kits. Good thing is that there are models available for evry wallet. In the end ofcourse you get what you paid for.

Tim,

more importantly, how do you make the RHD wiper arms? Can't see any on the runners but the kit is advertised as being L or RHD.

That problem is as nothing compared to having to locate a RHD steering rack when you want to replicate a modified car. If the plastic kit isn't supplied with optional front disc brakes and a deep sump with the option of Abarth or Giannini logo then it isn't even worth the plastic it's punched out of. I assume it is accurate, in common with most of the replica parts on most of our cars, in being made in China. ;)
You can use a piece of solder wire which is soft to bend and pieces of plastic for the rest. Take a look here to get idea of it.http://www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com/steering-wheel-racing-1-24-1-25/

....well you will just have to wait till someone like Eduard makes a detail kit. From what I can see there is a lot of detail that is wrong or missing.

Here is my new model.
Its a plastic body and die cast floorpan and others with pressed steel badges etc.
I bought separately some racing transfers
Its a Giannini - similar to my car except mine has blister arches
