Hi guys,
I have to do an order from overseas and it's always worth ordering ahead for things to work on in future to minimise shipping costs.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with:
1. Sunroof vinyl. Mine has shrunk around the frame, is sort of bowed between front and centre and rear, but looks like the original to me. I don't know if the replacements are a decent fit and substitute? I'm learning that some of the repro parts are pretty ordinary, and don't know if the sunroof vinyl fits into this bag. Also is the fitting of a new one an awful job to be avoided if possible?
2. Bonnet seals and rubbers. My bonnet looks pretty sparse, and I know there's a gasket that goes all the way around, plus a number of smaller rubber bits. Are there any must have rubber bits for mine? I note that when I pull the release cable, the bonnet doesn't pop up, so maybe this is related to rubbers?
3. Front panel. I hadn't actually noticed this before but it looks like little blue has been in an accident, and the passenger side front panel under the headlight is dented well in. As the front panel is also full of holes from various number plate sizes, and is relatively inexpensive, I wonder if anyone has had experience with the costs associated with removing the old front panel and fitting a new one? I fear that the panel beating needed to repair the accident damage may be significant enough to make fitting a new panel worthwhile...
Any thoughts as always much appreciated.
