4th July 1957 the Cinquecento was unveiled to the world, so today is its 60th Birthday.

PS I am not a nerd who knows these facts off the top or my head, it came off my Facebook timeline thanks to Ricambio!

I was in Garda on holiday 10 year ago when they launched the new-new 500. I spotted a few in a Fiat dealer on the bus to my hotel. I was chuffed to bits I was there to see the first of the LHD models available in Italy before they came to the UK.
Would have been great to see them launched in Turin all those years ago!

Nice to see an article on them in the national papers.

Though I did see on a page advertising the 500's at Goodwood as a "three seater little car"! Not entirely sure where they confused that statement from....
