Good Day all. I now own a 1969 Fiat 500 Lusso. Very nice piece of history, but it has clutch issues. When in first, you let out the clutch half way from the floor and nothing, but 2 CM more and it's fully engaged, and jumps to life! Second the same, but third and forth are better. Seems there is some kind of adjustment I can make to 'ease' the car into 1st and 2nd????? It's a shocking and rough way to start the journey, time and again! Any advice is appreciated.....Eric

The clamping of the clutch cable and its route past the gearbox have an effect on the clutch bite.
