Its the change in ratio of the gears/diff.
But at least it gives you a little extra top speed

Same here and as Sean's saying, you'll find that rolling along at 60mph+ is easily achievable and less hectic than with the original configuration.

If the syncro box came from a 126 Bis then the ratio may be a little high for the engine power

It is also fitted with 126 engine so its probably down to wheel rim sze. It could also be that the 126 has the same sisues.
