Which 500 model do you have? Is it the front stub-axle (including king-pin carrier?) or the rear stub-axle? Where do you live?

I have got a few in my garage I will check them out later today when I get a chance. Are you running standard hubs and wheels?
 
May I suggest that if 1 hub unit requires o/haul, there is a fair chance that the other one might be close to requiring the same tlc. My suggestion would be to contact Kelvyne Baker (01934-843970) Kelvyne will not only o/haul the units, but will up-rate them with a 2nd grease nipple. One of the problems with the 500 king-pin system is that it has only 1 (badly placed) grease nipple. By putting in a 2nd nipple, both upper and lower king-pin bushes can be lubricated.

Thanks for that. Needed to put kingpins. RHS has been done fine but LHS has hardly any thread on it (think someone tightened it rather than undoing it)
 
I asked about wheels and hubs as often 126 units have been fitted to accommodate the 4 x 98pcd wheels. Ok so I have had a rummage and found a pair of 500 stub axles with perfect King pins. Happy to sell one or the pair if you want to pm me :)
