Hi folks

Almost ready to lay a carpet down in my 500 but I notice on the transmission tunnel there are a number of holes on the side along it's length.

I'm thinking these are to let heat into the car since I don't think I have anything to bolt in?

The moulded carpet is going to cover all those unless I make holes, so I'm thinking I'll just fill them in with something removable and let the heart go right to the front.

Thoughts?

My guess (without a photo) is that they are for the rubber plugs that held the original type rubber floor mats in place. You should find the holes on the sills as well.

Could be mats, hadn't thought of that.
