Do new carpets cover the front wheel arches? And if so, do they go right to the edge at the side and front?

I'm just trying to decide whether to cover the arches (inside the car) with sound deadening. But I'll need to know where to stop and what the carpets cover.

The (1 piece) carpets that I have in my car DO cover the wheel arches completely. In fact there was so much slack that I had to work hard to lose the surplus--really had to pull them into the front and edges. You should have no problem fitting some sound deadening onto the wheel-arches and under the carpet.
