Possibly not an appropriate use for this part of The Forum, but like me, I'm sure many people have ended up with surplus new items which they have no current use for.
I've just spotted that the non-adjustable centre-rod on mine has a worn ball-joint. Before I order one, does anyone have one to sell?

I like your thinking Chris, but it would annoy some people if it just became a buy, sell, swap-meet.

The thing is that the ball joint is actually. OK. I was under the car, lying on the ground, being Tarzan by using the drag link as a grip-bar to haul myself forward. I think my huge weight just pulled down on the spring-loading inside a ball joint, as I can do it with all of them if I use force. .:banghead:
