Time for a fun thread about place you've gone, things you've done either driving or working on the car that in retrospect...
I'll start:
Last year, when the engine was out, I had all the tinware blasted which I repainted myself. Several months later, I noticed the paint isn't looking so good. Only then, did I realise I didn't use any primer. I just painted the top coat on.
The saga continues: I have the engine out again currently and had the tinware blasted again. This time I remembered to prime first, then thought I'd use up some paint I had lying around before putting the topcoat on. The topcoat wasn't going on well at all. Come to find out, the intermediate paint I used is for BBQ's and stoves that needs to heated up to temp before the paint sets. Back to the blaster I went, who I am now on a first name basis with... Hopefully, my third attempt is successful.
Geez, you'd think I never did some basic spray painting before...
