Doing a test run for transporting my 500 to the Silverstone auction,, and I was crapping myself !!

A man with a van is a lot cheaper then a low bed..
Will be sad to see my 500 go

Just got back from Italy (watching the Mille Miglia in Senigallia)--lots of 500s still in use as every-day cars! Moving 500s around in the back of big Fiat or Transit vans seems to be the norm out there. Sorry to see that you are having to part company with your 'wee beastie'

Yes it is, the third car to go through.. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I wasn't far out when he was first saying he had to sell it, I said £15k+, but I did say I would be tempted to put it up with a reserve of £20k at auction, so maybe a little optimistic but £15k is what I would expect.

Crikey just looking at some of the other items in the auction that sold.

This is one expensive tool kit for a few spanners and screwdrivers!!!
