Hi there,

Hopefully not too much of a newbie question!!!

I've noticed that when idling - say stopped at the lights for example - the generator light on the dash of my 500 comes on.

Can somebody please tell me if this is normal for 500s, simply a pointer that I'm idling too low and just needing some adjustment, or something potentially more of a concern?

Similar happened to me and had to give it gas when stopped at a light. Adjusted the idle screw based on the advice of a member here and it fixed it.

It's normal

Thanks fiat500; I'll keep an eye on it and if it starts causing me grief I'll look at adjusting.
