I'm joking about the bonnet by the way.....:D But maybe these rear fins? and definitely the roofrack!
You are freaking me out now!

For someone who was so keen on keeping his 500 basic and original, you are starting to go wacky on us. Must be all that cold air doing things to you.

Found the right emoticon that I should have used...... :yum: or :-J
Don't worry...it's just that I have a Facebook feed that throws these things at me. And I have to admit, whoever creates these things really loves the Fiat 500 and must have put a huge amount of work into it. So they get a thumbs up from me. (y)
Each to their own.

It's been very wet lately and nothing to report. Just as an excuse here's Murf earning his keep unnecessarily being used to bring back all the kit after painting the grandchildrens' new bedroom.

Citroen made the 2cv seats easily removable and multi functional.

Not sure if fiat had the same idea.

I now want a 2CV with those seats:)

I think I would have to spend an hour outside B&Q with a lump hammer and blowtorch to get my passenger seat out like that again. Other stores are available!!!!

He he he!:D I know what you mean; but they did come out OK at one time..I've done that with one of my my previous cars...HTD 373K when I worked for Brink's-mat.!

Not long after admiring this view of Loch Ussie we were flagged down after a roundabout to point out that something had dropped off the roof. The sunroof was open and those damn rivets on the centre bar..second lot I tried, had given up. I raced back up the dual carriageway and retrieved it almost undamaged. Slightly too bent at one end and a bit scratched.
I hate those rivets so I'm going to devise a positive way to keep the bar on and disguise it with the black rivet caps. I'm also making my own rubber pads as the copies are so insubstantial.

I must admit Peter, I feel the same about them rivets. I have fitted mine but they are both loose. Maybe put them together with a little glue. Might try some araldite.
Nice pic by the way

Which rivets is it? The ones on the end of the back bar that hold it to the roof? The centre bar comes attached the vinyl roof already doesn't it?

Not in my case. You get some fairly authentic looking rivets which barely meet. They click fit very weakly. It would help, as Sean said, to use an adhesive to lock them but that would still worry me at the enormous velocity that I drive at; Murf's happy well at above 50 mph these days.
I WILL work something out.

many, many years ago a friend of mine needed a small Ford car engine (1172cc side-valve) taken into central London, from South London---so we removed the passenger seat, put some extra carpeting down, my mate sat across the rear sear (all 19 stone and 6ft 3in of him) and the engine resided where the front seat should be for the delivery---simples!
