Hi, I know it's some time since you posted, but did you get the seats? If so, how are they? I'm looking for similar for my Abarth 695 Evocation so would be interested in who supplies them too. Many thanks
I bought period bucket seats with small head rests.
The sub-frame creates some issues - I wanted mine to lift up for rear access -others here have modern seats with sub-frames but I wanted "period"
I ended up buying replacement Fiat 500 seat mounts and fitting them to a custom sub-frame.
You can spend a lot on these ........and I've spent a lot on a lot.....so my seats were "reasonable" but not unduly expensive
At last I'm ready to do this! Thanks (albeit very late!) for the info, I'm just looking into potential suppliers now, any help with this would be gratefully received. Cheers
When I bought my 500L, I was very lucky as it already had a pair of 'sports' seats fitted. These were (as far as I can see) the "Sports seats, fabric", parts number C13701, sold by Axel Gerstl. Not only do the backs tilt, but the whole seat can be tilted forward (as per the standard seats) and fit straight onto 500/126 seat runners without any modifications.
Hi Andrew, I'm just reviewing threads on seats on the forum, as I'm looking at fitting seats to my car and the seats available via the usual web-shops don't seem cost affective compared to other options. Which runner did you use to fit these seats? Can you recall?
