Technical Front End Suspension Kit

Easy to install as you'll just mostly need a socket set. As per their note though, you'll now be suspending the front end off the front shock mounts, so as they advise this will no doubt need beefing up. So you're no doubt going to need to weld in some reinforcing plates welding in.

Personally, I quite like the quirkiness of the transverse leaf spring, and there's not much weight up front.

cheers, Steve

Yeah I have to agree with Steve. Personally I don't think it is going to offer a lot, the standard 500 steering and suspension is go kart like anyway. The fact they recommend reinforcing the top shock mounts would worry me a bit with all that weight suspended off there.

Plus the price is crazy for what it is. I can't imagine it costs a lot to make?

When compared to the cost of alternatives for the 500, I agree it looks expensive, but in absolute terms it looks well priced. You can easily spend 2-3 times this on a set of coil-overs this size, so for the whole kit it appears to be good value. It's hard to assess without seeing and experiencing the quality of the shocks and springs.

The good thing with the 500 is that the front mounts are easily accessed, so it shouldn't be hard to put some extra bracing in and around the mounting points.

cheers, Steve
