It seems you can't avoid constantly getting into conversation with people on your travels when you have a 500...usually a great thing. Several people have been telling me about a version of the modern which has a full size image of the original on the side; I tracked it down and it's not as good as I hoped for.

...but there's actually more things that can go for timber!

It's got the later doors and possibly the earlier windscreen shape. It looks like the original front hole for the horn has been filled and re-shaped into the later "R" type badge recess.

I thought I had seen the styling buck before, it looks like it's normal resting place is at the Fiat museum in Turin...
