Hey all. I know I asked in my newbie rebuild thread but I wanted to post out here as I am really in need. I have my 500 at a mechanic friend's garage and he is ready to put the motor and gearbox in for me. Unfortunately I have next to none of the bolts I had when I took the fiat apart due to cruel ex wife reasons.

Can anyone point me to a good reference to bolt sizes? At this point I am most interested in the studs that mate the gearbox to the motor and the bolts that are involved with the flex joints. I do have a 126 motor and gearbox for reference.

Thanks for any info anyone can provide! Help!

I can get the engine to gearbox ones for you tomorrow as I have my 650 engine and gearbox on the floor of my garage at the moment.

Which ones do you need?

Attached is a photo of the rear of my 126 crankcase.

I think "Bambino" Chris is your man for this level of detail

Done a bit of measuring ... :)

The stud is a 70mm 8M1.25. The short thread is ~18mm and the long thread ~24mm.

The bolt is a standard 55mm 8M1.25. The threaded part is ~22mm long.

Flex joint bolts as above.

Thanks for the wonderful information guys! Sorry to be such a 500 simpleton, but can you tell me which holes get the studs and which get bolts? (assuming they would get one of the two Chris mentioned). It may be obvious if I had it all in front of me but my mechanic has it all and he just asked me to get the bolts or info. Hopefully when the motor and gearbox get installed I can get it back in my hands to do some of the work myself.

I numbered Chris' picture for hole reference. 1 & 6 obviously are the mentioned studs and 7 the mentioned bolt.

Again, Thank you all!
