Bodily it is in good condition although work will be carried out in time.
It has been "restored" and seems rot free but time will tell.
Car is mechanically exhausted - like me.....
Electrics are basically non functioning - but that is a simple task

Engine and gearbox for the bin.

New standard brakes this week
Suspension all in good time...

I have some great period accessories to fit - but getting it on the road without have to repeat any tasks is my priority.

Got to decide what to do about the engine bay....engine out soon....will I just clean the bay or do more...

Dont bin them quite yet!
I am in need of a camshaft as my 650 one doesnt have the distributor drive on it. Also i would be interested in the gearbox remains to see if the parts i need for my 500 box are salvageable.
By the way if you get stuck with the 5 speed mods, give me a shout. My father is a retired Tool maker and still has his lathe & milling machine.

If it's just cosmetics, I'd personally be inclined to ignore it for now. You've already sorted out your immediate goals, focusing on them without distraction will get them completed ASAP. Then you can work out what's next

So a quick degrease for now, why you've got good access, and then move on
