I am looking for advise on cams...I want to build my engine as near as possible to an abarth 595ss which I believe should have a 40/80/80/40 cam...this car will be for my wife to use...will that cam be too lumpy for normal use...would a 35/75/75/35 be better?...any comments or suggestions appreciated

Without an uprated head, exhaust & carb neither will do much at all. The cam must be considered in relation to what else you are planning on doing to your engine.

Sorry, I thought that would have given an idea of what else I was doing to the engine..

The head will be ported, with larger inlet valves and uprated valve springs, a Solex 34 Carb with appropriate inlet will be fitted, along with a sports exhaust...I also plan to have the engine balanced...
