I would like to fit seat belts my Fiat 500 Giardiniera.I know re.cambio sell seat belt kits.Has anybody had experience in fitting them.My major concern is the
fixing points.Drilling holes in the Body work of the car etc.

Try contacting Damon Earwaker (Damaon500)--he is in the process of a major renovation on a Giardinier and will probably be able to supply you with the answer to your query---very helpful guy.

Hi,
I have no idea about the Ricambio Kits but am indeed fitting seatbelts into my Giardiniera during its restoration- front and rear.
Whether it has mounts and their type depends on the age of the vehicle- my 1960 Giardiniera has no mounts at all whereas a 1962 one does (just underneath the rear side window)
As I am over 6ft tall I have gone the hard way around it and welded 126 mounts into the 'B' Pillars so the belt is the right height to travel over my shoulder and I am using 126 front Inertia Reel belts in both front and rear.
For the Bottom mounts I have inserted a plate in the base of the B pillar with a captive nut and the modified 500F floorpans I have used have the floor mounting points.
See if you can get some advice from Ricambio regarding their kit and whether your car has mounting points or otherwise there is significantly more work involved...
