Just bought a beautiful '71 L.
My left hand red light on the dash (plastic type) flashes irregularly while driving. Can't work out if it is over bumps or at low revs, seems completely random. Anyone got any ideas?

Is it not labeled? How much fuel is in the tank? It is probably the low fuel indicator. It comes on when there is about 3/4 of a gallon left, but it will flash before that. from what I remember you should get about 50km once it comes on.
