The double ended small tube spanner is actually supposed to be 'missing' from a 500 tool kit.
It is present on the 124/125 tool kits - I assume it functions as an allen key to remove the twin cam rocker cover bolts.
Even though it looks somewhat incomplete without this tool, out of many dozens of Fiat 500's I have owned and worked on (including several 1 owner examples with untouched toolkits) I have never seen an original 500F kit with this spanner.
I have also sourced one from a 125 toolkit for display purposes on my 30,000 mile 500F but don't feel short changed if you don't have one!

Yes. This one has the spanner. I will be showing this car when it's finished so I wanted everything complete.

If this is your toolkit make sure the wheel brace fits the bolts...

500 Sedans don't normally have the pointed end on the wheelbrace as they don't need it to remove hubcaps and wheel bolts are a 17mm head, usually the type with a flat pointed end is 19mm which will fit the Giardiniera or 126 wheel bolts.

Oh right thanks Damon, you learn something new everyday.:D

I just assumed that all the ones I had seen missing the tube spanner, everyone had been careless. But this clears that idea up.

Oh well. Too late. Will have to see if it is the right one when I get it. I really want it for display purposes anyhow so no big deal. I will carry a ratchet and correct socket in case of an emergency.

I contacted the seller and told him its not the right one for a 500F. His description was inaccurate. So he refunded my PayPal payment. The search goes on...

Is this the correct kit? The guy wants a bunch of money for it but I'm considering if it is correct for a '70 500F.

Yes looks correct, so long as the wrench is 17mm, it does look smaller than the picture of the last one you posted. Also it has the wooden handled screwdriver which would be more in period for the 500F.

Yes- looks correct with the bonus of additional tube spanner! The wheelbrace should fit and screwdriver is correct- even the hinges on the box seem to be unbroken.. good find!

Thanks for your help guys. I am working it out with the seller now.

Restoration complete. Now just a final wax and it will be home on Monday. This resto took a long time but well worth the wait. It's like I have a brand new 1970 Cinquecento now. Here are some pics. Interior still needs to be cleaned up and floor mats put in.

I'm actually debating on getting a 1973 fiat 500 or a 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth how do you like it so far?

Well let me tell you, there will be a HUGE difference between a '73 and a '15 Abarth! The older one really cannot be taken on the highways. It's way to slow. It will be limited to running around town and going to car meets etc.
Now with the Abarth, that can be used as a daily driver obviously. It's a whole different animal.
That being said, I absolutely love my Cinquecento. It is such a blast to drive and a real head turner. No matter where I go someone asks about it and takes pictures.
I guess it really depends on what your needs are. Either way you will love these little cars.
