I've done this before on another forum but worth a try here. Out of interest, I would love to know where some 500s I used to own are now living and in what condition. Not after any personal information just an update. Does anyone own or know of?:
HTD 373K in Positano Yellow 500L
WUN 230K same colour 500L
GTD 736K Red 500F

DVLA suggests that 1 and 3 are still alive and kicking. 1 went into SORN August 2013. 3 is buzzing around somewhere fully taxed and MOT'd. 2 looks like it may have gone meet its maker, no road tax since 1983. Mind you mine hadn't had road tax since 87 so you never know?

Just looked up MURPHIO and according to the DVLA he doesn't exist?

Thanks for the research Tony. I always thought that No. 2 had an early end as there was some talk that the buyer wanted the plate. No.1 was a car that a colleague at work badgered and badgered me to sell and the one I went furthest in. No.3 was a shared car with my brothers which was very unreliable and which I did a full respray and restoration in less than a month...oh to be young again. Murphio has only got the green logbook as the Tax Office wouldn't register until he is MOTd.

Number one is red now according to DVLA, so basically you have to keep your eye for red 500's and see if they are your past acquaintances.

DVLA records show GTD 736K is red and is taxed until 01/05/2015, it is also MOT to 27/04/2015, so it looks like this one is mobile somewhere.
