I've been meaning to do this for ages but have never got around to it.
My car has an array of five different coloured 8A fuses and one 25A fuse on the switched 12V circuit (2-B). The user manual states that they should all be 8A. I don't know how the 25A one snuck in, but as I intend to install a few extra instruments at some stage, I'll replace it with a 16A one and leave all of the others 8A. Besides, I need a red one in there somewhere.
So today, I splashed out and bought new ceramic fuses and installed them.
For general information the standard colours for ceramic fuses are -
5A Yellow
8A White
16A Red
25A Blue
I know that this isn't very interesting, but hey, that's my life
Chris
PS: And yes Joe, I know that two of them aren't quite straight ...
