Hi all,

Does anyone know hw interchangeable parts are for 126/500's ?

I want to uprate my brakes and want to find what Fiat bits would fit, i.e. can you make a Panda hub and disc/caliper fit a 126/500 ?

Any ideas ?

Cheers all !

Hi Harry and welcome to the forum!

There is an excellent web site which details exactly which 126 bits will fit a 500 (apologies to nuova500!)

Link is here: http://www.fiat500clubsa.com/niki-swaps.html

Regarding brake upgrades, yes this certainly can be done, and I know 500's have been successfully fitted with disc brakes, as I recall using hubs from a Panda 30.

However I will do a bit more digging on that subject.

(y) Hi , this is my first posting on this forum so bear with me if screw up as this is all new to me. I have spent some time (& money) working on the disc brake upgrade for the 500s & the 126s & have had success putting together a set up using Seicento, Cinquecento or Panda disc brake parts. I have had a couple of adaptor plates laser cut to my own design & it all goes together nicely on the the 126 stub axles which are the ones that the expensive £450 conversions use. This set up uses stock parts so can be very ecconomical but will only fit 13" rims though but the next step is to work on a 12" rim set up. :yum:
