Working from home whilst in lockdown. Not too bad as I can remote work. Would prefer the office though. Be a while until Val is let out of the garage, so let's get some posts of our little babies going to keep us all motivated during these tough times. (y)

Sorry guys I’ve stuffed this up a bit! Here is my 1970 500F after 2 and half year restoration!

Well done 'rafdac' for keeping another 500 (L) alive AND BEING USED. Would I be correct in thinking that you have a LHD headlamp on the o/s of the car?---it looks like it is 'masked' on the dip section of the lens. RHD headlamps are available (new) from Mark Jayes at "Motobambino" who are just outside Carnforth (upper section of the M6).

Yes you are right and it passed many MOT tests before it was picked up a couple of years ago. My sister and Mum live near Carnforth so will look up motobambino. Many thanks.

Here you go. Not my 500 but My 1500 decided that since Autoitalia Canberra was cancelled On 29 March it would go to the old site of the show for a solo photo shoot.

Well done Raukstern, and welcome to the Forum. If you have any problems, it is what we are here for---ask and we will attempt to answer. Just for interest. where are you based; on a project like yours, it can be a real helpif you have another "Cinquecento" owner in the area.

Hobbler, I´m in Gotland, Sweden. No Cinquecentisti in my vicinity unfortunately.
But thats what I´ll have you guys to remedy :)

Also don´t know why my first pic came out sideways, the original i right site up...

Looking forward to getting to now you guys and the forum better.

We bought this 1971 500L in Naples in 2015, planning to restore it slowly but on our first trip out it burst into flames! A wire connected to the number plate shorted out and then the fuel filter bulb caught fire and sprayed fuel on the engine. It was definitely a memorable first drive. All fixed now and in running order.
