Hi All,

I am a relatively new owner of a 1967 500 F who is called Fiona, having been married for 38 years who am I to argue. I am not new to classic cars and also have a Rover Mini Cabriolet, MG TF and have had MG Midgets, Mini Coopers and Ford Anglia’s in the past. At the moment Fiona is a rolling shell and down to bare metal fortunately there is very little rust other than the trailing part of the rear wheel arches. I have been reading the forum avidly to try and learn some of the 500’ s little quirks and foibles. I am sure I will be posting seeking advice when I hit a stumbling block.

Welcome to the Forum Fiona---where are you based? Don't be afraid to ask questions, that is what the Forum is for.

Yes we like it, particularly my good lady, it’s a shame it is not an original Fiat colour but it is going to be repainted the same colour. I would have liked to kept it original but as I have not found out what colour it left the factory I don’t think it really matters.

Well . . . you're probably speaking to the wrong person about original colours. My Valentina is not original. I wanted something different when she was restored.

But, its subjective, so each to their own.

Just posted this in the US forum, but mind as well share here too!

Hey All, just wanted to show off my new purchase. This took me about 11 months to get, but it’s finally home. I’m in San Diego, CA, as I read a few others are as well.

This is a 58 Nuova America, with full ragtop. It needs a few items to get up and running. The starter was intermittent. I have a shop working on rebuilding it now. The pinion was also substantially chewed up as well. Also, there is no brake master cylinder on the car, so I’ve purchased quite a few parts to re-do the system and hopefully make him a driver soon!

Hi Fiona500f meet my Fiona , a 72 L that lives with me in SpainIMG_20180314_174735.jpeg

Hello,

Your Fiona is nice looking, can’t wait to get ours done and back on the road hope she turns out as good as yours. Our Fiona is now called Frankie best not to ask. She has gone from Fiona to Pheobe to Frankie hope that’s the last change as I am tired of changing her folder name.

Thanks Chris

Hi Everyone, here we are with a shot of the Leicester City glory days, hoping we would do it again this year. Think Liverpool have something to say about that though. Still it's a nice shot.

Cheers
Hugh Jarce (aka Gary)

Hi all, new member here just bought a 1967 500F in very nice condition, thinking of a few mods, maybe small engine upgrade and fitting of front discs, any pointers gratefully received.
