First post for me. Bit of a novice question here but when I turn ignition on my 126 the dash lights turn on and I hear a click but doesn't start. When I try again, no dash lights come on and no clicking sound...not even the interior light turns on. I suspect it may be a poor ground connection as battery was tested and was in good order...even had it fully recharged. Tried to start with jumper cables but made no difference so am going to recheck ground connection in the morning. Anyone have similar experience? Thank you.

Does sound earth related

The click sound will be the starter solenoid trying to kick in but there is not enough power there. So if you are sure the battery is ok then you need to check battery connections, cables, starter connections, battery earth to body and the earth strap in the engine bay.
