hi guys, im usually playing with cinqs but really want a 126 now, am i better buying a bis in the uk or would anyone say its worth taking a cheap flight to poland and buying an older aircooled one there?

I'd say a UK bis. Much simpler and in my opinion the Bis is a better car anyway.

All 126s are fun but it depends upon what you want to do. With the Bis what you see is what you drive so you can bolt on shiny bits and there are some very cool ones around but there is very little scope in the go faster department. With the air cooled cars it just comes down to how big your wallet is and how much you can do yourself

If a BIS comes up, i say go for that. Definitely the more practical one. Probably no need to go to poland for a left hooker A/C as many have been imported for sale here, although cheaper to buy there. A UK 126 might be better with documented history, there are still A/C 126's out there.
