I looked at a 1977 124 today and got the VIN (ser.No.), and am wondering if there is a way to determine the engine type from that info?
I'm a newbie here, I bought a new 1976, when I got my first real job. I loved the car but lost it through a divorce compromise, so I want to to get something at least close.
