So why not use a Motorcraft 2150 Carb? Has anyone ever tried? The Jeep folks use them on all kinds of Jeeps and they are very reliable and easy to adjust and cheap in both used and new. I have a 1979 Spider and would love to try if I was mechanically inclined. Just a thought.

Sorry to see you have not had any response to your threads.

As the 124 Spider was never officially imported into the U.K. (but was sold elsewhere in Europe), perhaps not many members here have experience of these cars and possible mods.

Might I suggest you try posting on www.fiatspider.com which is a predominately U.S. website and has members with vast experience on the 124 Spider including modifications.
